Neutrosophic fuzzy goal programming approach in selective maintenance allocation of system reliability

Abstract Selective maintenance problem plays an essential role in reliability optimization decision-making problems. Systems are a configuration of several components, and there situations the system needs small intervals or break for actions, during expert carried out actions to replace repair deteriorated components systems. Because uncertainty associated with component’s operational time, failure, next mission duration create new challenge determining optimal allocation evaluating future missions successfully. In this paper, multi-objective selective is formulated fuzzy parameters under neutrosophic environment. A defuzzification technique introduced based on beta distribution convert into crisp values. The goal programming used determine compromise replaceable repairable optimization. numerical illustration validate model ascertain its effectiveness. result compared two other approaches found be better. method flexible straightforward can solved using any available commercial packages. extension concept useful complex
